"The Tale Of Algebra Class"
School shootings are obviously an issue, specifically in the United States, and especially in present time. Barry’s story is intriguing, because of his thoughts and words on himself and his actions, since the shootings took place. I think, at least in his case, we also need to look into his familial history, as his background seems to have some influence on what happened, not only hereditarily but also in the anger and rage that filled his household.
This story also addresses how media can manipulate and place blame for horrible events, on pop culture. Stephen King pulled a book because of Barry and others like him, which may have been the best decision, but for me, Rage, is more of actually seeing others and helping them with their thoughts/feelings/issues.
